ok everyone the klipsch know it all is here (i talked for 50 minutes with the klpisch ppl)

the 5.1 gen 2 came in sept. 4 BUT! they are testing them all before they ship them. i had to send them my set (1st gen) so i get the 2nd gen before you all MWHAHAHA.

the 1st gen wasn't made to spec they used crappyer parts and such. when i called before spet. 4 they said it was at the border waiting in costoms (i assume it was being made in mexico) this is not good. mexico like to make products faster and cheaper. i'm hoping the klipsch bitch slaped the ppl in mexico and made them make it right. i don't think you will be able to get the klipsch 5.1 2nd gen till oct. if you do get a set before sept. 25th then it wil be 1st gen and after time it will break D: when you use a smaller wire in somehting that need a larger wire it heats up the smaller the wire the hotter it gets the more of a chance it will eather start on fire or break (i have tryed to make stuff using cheap/smaller wire i almost burn down a friends house)

How would we know if its Klipsch 5.1 1st or 2nd generation??

that is true..how would we know if it's 1st or 2nd gen?? guess we'll have to wait till they ship and see if we can find any special markings...

Bad news is you can't tell unless they put a 2nd gen sticker on it. form what klipsch told me they tryed to recall all the 1st gen. you know how stores are, "we can send this back and wait 1 month to gets new one and make money or sell these and make money now and have them send it to klipsch or even better have the custom not even know they are messed up." lets hope when you get your set uit is the 2nd gen. if you get a 2nd gen it will work they are ALL tested before they are shipped. if you want to make sure you get a 2nd gen you can order off there web page ( www.klipsch.com )and wait till they get them in

gudnuf4u i see in another post you said your using crappy speakers, i'm using $7.99 speakers that when i turn then 1/2 up all i hear it stadic. when i get my klipsch 5.1 i will kiss the ground then make it rumble like never before
