Manufacturer:
ASUS

AGP based nVidia TNT board with 16Mb RAM

Bundle:
Incoming, VCD MPEG-1 Power Player

$140 - $150

Known primarily for their fantastic mainboards, Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS also offers a multitude of other products including SCSI host adapters, video cards, networking products, and even full servers. Throw in a CD-ROM line and a notebook line, and you've got almost every base covered from a manufacturer's standpoint.

The new flagship video card line from ASUS is named the "AGP-V3400TNT" series, and is based on nVidia's Riva TNT 2D/3D accelerator chip. Offered in four flavors, the AGP-3400TNT product range shapes up this way:

AGP-V3400TNT 8MB
AGP-V3400TNT 16MB
AGP-V3400TNT-TV 8MB
AGP-V3400TNT-TV 16MB

All four models offer the speed and competency level you've come to expect from the widely heralded TNT-based cards, but the last two "TV" models of the line offer something no other TNT vendor currently does: Video Capturing.

We're waiting for our "TV" versions of the AGP-3400TNT to arrive from ASUS-Taiwan currently, but we'll throw a little info out there for everyone to chew on while we wait.
