There are a few important items that stand out on the spec sheet, such as the maximum of 768MB of SDRAM, support for Pentium 2 speeds up to 450MHz, and the inclusion of a SB-LINK header. (The SB-LINK provides real legacy support for older Sound Blaster PCI cards)

A few other hardware features that aren't listed above include the C400's two 3-pin fan power supplies (this is becoming more and more common, whatever happened to the pseudo-standard of THREE fan power supply connectors on 440BX boards?) A bank of three "dressed up for prom" DIMM slots in a spiffy white color, and legible definitions of each connector's function on the board itself.
