As with any Guillemot product one has come to expect a bare bones solution, which is usually the opposite of Diamond's products. Apart from the drivers on the CD, there really isn't anything else to make a song and dance about. Unless you've not already played demos of Incoming, Jedi Knight, Outlaws, Sub Culture, Hexen II and Redline Racer before. Not a great bundle but then if a bundle is what you want then Diamond is your best bet. If it's a cheap no nonsense Voodoo2 that you want then Guillemot can temper your needs. Still, I've said it before and I'll say it again, buy your hardware for the hardware itself and not for the software that comes with it. Specifically with the Voodoo2 in mind, you'll most likely have and/or not even want to own the games that come with a particular games bundle. Nevertheless, there's still something to be said in the defence of a games bundle, but in my opinion it shouldn't warrant a significantly higher price.

Shake the rectangular (as observed earlier) box a bit more and out should pop a couple of bits and bobs that you'll need to get you started. First of all, a 20x DB-15 analog monitor (DDC2B) video cable, which is slightly chunkier than Creative's or the one 3Dfx provided me with their reference board. Not just any video cable mind you- some web site folks have been having trouble with bending theirs (their cable dammit!) but needless to say that the one provided by Guillemot not only bends but actually doesn't distort the picture on your monitor significantly either.

After you've successfully navigated the VGA cable, your next beef might well be with the SLI cable which originally caused Tom some stress in that it was too long. Hath no fear because Guillemot has realised that size does matter. They've snipped the cable down to about an inch and a half in length.
