Upon unpacking the 7100M's, it was quite obvious that MidiLand put quite a bit of quality into the build of the satellite enclosures as well as the box that houses the subwoofer and amplifier. MidiLand has included all of the cables necessary to get the 7100M humming along with a Dolby Digital decoder and the manual is thorough enough to facilitate a clean installation done right the first time. We had no problems setting the 7100's up in a medium or small sized room. However, when used in a home-theater environment, we did encounter an issue with the length of the included speaker wire - in a large room it may be difficult to get optimum stereo separation after snaking the speakers around a TV or entertainment center. Similarly, it may be a bit tough to get both rear speakers placed with the included rear-satellite wiring. That said, a dorm room or medium sized bedroom would easily accommodate the 7100M.
