  • 3D WinBench 2000 CPU Integer test really stresses the L2 cache of the CPU and best serves to demonstrate the speed of its internal processing, measuring the CPU-intensive portion of the 3D graphics pipeline.

Time and time again we've seen the Duron best a comparably clocked Celeron in gaming performance, so the results of the game-centric processor test aren't surprising. In comparison to the Duron 700, the speed increase is relatively marginal - pretty much what we'd expect from a 50MHz increase.
