The human body, at rest or at constant level movement on earth, experiences 1g of force. Roller coaster rides can take you up to 3gs of force, with typical symptoms being a tightening of the stomach muscles and loss of balance due to movement and pressure changes in the inner ear. It's a well-documented fact that the human body can only take up to 9 or 10 G-forces before experiencing what is known as G-LOC - a Loss of Consciousness due to incredible pressure on the body. Among the symptoms are tunnel vision, momentary grayout (when everything turns gray and vision is black and white), and eventual blackout with a complete loss of consciousness.

Having said that, Sharky Extreme is proud to present our review of the LeadTek WinFast GeForce 256 DDR, the 10th review of a card featuring NVIDIA's GeForce chipset. This is LeadTek's venture into the land of graphics cards with Double Data Rate memory, and should prove to be a worthy flagship card.

This WinFast DDR card is your basic reference GeForce card, running with a 120MHz core and 150MHz memory, with the inclusion of 6ns DDR SGRAM (150MHz*2=301MHz). For the overclockers out there, this card sports the standard fan found on almost all other GeForce DDR cards. As such, it's unlikely that the performance or overclocking potential will be much different than similarly equipped video cards. Like its sibling SDR card, the WinFast DDR adds support for S-Video out. This should please those of you who connect your computers to your TV to watch DVD movies. What's in it for the rest of us? One of the most solid DDR cards on the market, for a very reasonable price.
